4 Signs It’s Time to Replace Your Business’ Chain-Link Fence

Chain-link fencing is common at commercial spaces, farm properties, and businesses. It is seen as a durable and budget-friendly fencing option for many of our commercial clients here at Fence Masters. While it can last a long time, it will eventually start to show signs of age and wear and tear.

Follow these clues to either a new fence or fence repairs:

Warped Frame

Your fence’s frame is very important as it is the base of its foundation. You need to have a strong and intact frame in order for the chain-link panels to stay in place and remain uncompromised. If you have any areas that have bends, cracks or warping, then you need to have a professional review it and offer guidance. Our team does offer repairs on any fencing that we have installed as well as other fencing on a case-by-case basis.

Missing Links

While you might feel that a damaged or missing link here and there is no problem, it can definitely turn into a big problem. As more links become damaged, there will be large holes starting to pop up and providing a way to enter your place. The point of your fencing is for a secure perimeter, and holes do not provide that.

Rust Spots

Even coated chain-link fencing can begin to rust over the years. If the coating becomes scratched or wears down, rust spots can begin to form, and that can lead to warping or holes. Again, this type of damage creates an unsecured perimeter and needs to be addressed sooner vs. later.

Fewer Layers

The coating that is on your fence will eventually wear down with erosion over time. Sun, wind, and crazy weather will beat down on your fence and chip away at any type of coating. By keeping an eye on your chain-link fencing, you can see when these problems are starting to arise and take steps before things become too bad.

Our Knowledge is Your Advantage

Our Fence Masters team has worked on thousands and thousands of fences over the years since we first opened in 1983. We are happy to advise you on the best material for your project or any help on location and design. Not only do we work with chain-link for our commercial clients, but also wood, vinyl, aluminum, and wrought iron. Each material has its own benefits that we can discuss with you before we get started on a project. Placement of any gates is another way to limit or control access to your property. Gate operators that are controlled by a keypad or card allow you to limit who can enter your place.

All of our team members are licensed, bonded, and insured and have the expertise needed to answer your questions. We are ready to get going today. Connect with us today through our online contact form.

Please note: Fence Masters offers chain-link fencing for commercial clients only. We do not install chain-link fencing for residential customers.
