This duration may shift during our peak season, but our service is faster than what almost any other company offers, so don’t hesitate to call and begin on your project right away. It’ll be done before you know it!

The degree of maintenance required for your fence is determined on the product you select. Vinyl is one of the most low-maintenance fence materials. Due to UV-resistant chemicals and other properties, it is exceptionally sun and weather-resistant. You may clean it by rinsing it with a hose or brushing it off. Wood, wrought iron, aluminum, and chain-link fences may require a bit more attention and, in some cases, expert repair; but don’t worry – all of our installations come with a five-year labor warranty and one year for gates. We also support all manufacturer warranties which include limited lifetime material guarantees for all PVC and aluminum goods.

Wrought iron, aluminum, and even PVC (vinyl) are designed to stand up to the tests of weather and time. Our company uses products that have been specially designed for the harsh Chicago weather, and many of our materials come with a limited lifetime material warranty. We also offer a five-year labor warranty on all our installations for residential fences as well as a one-year labor warranty for gates.  All of our products are also covered by their manufacturer warranties. With these offerings, you never have to worry about damages to your fence.

Cash, check, or credit card are all acceptable forms of payment. We provide a 3% discount if paying with cash or check. A finance plan is also available. It is necessary to obtain credit approval. When you sign a contract, we require a 50% deposit, with the remainder required upon completion.

Most towns require that a permit be applied for. Call your local town hall to find out what your town requirements may be.

We ask for a plat of the property’s survey to confirm that your fence is installed within your property lines and recommend you have this at the time of your estimate. Most towns also require a plat of the survey before you may apply for a permit. If you do not have a copy, check with your town as they might have a copy on file.

When our installers arrive, we ask that someone be present. You’ll be able to double-check and confirm the fence plan, as well as answer any questions our installation staff may have. Our team also needs someone to be home as the installation is completed. This allows you to inspect the installation and pay upon completion.

After your estimate, our sales staff will be calling JULIE, Indiana 811, or the City of Chicago depending on where you live, to mark for utilities as mandated by state law. What’s hidden in your yard could surprise you. The majority of electric, gas, water, sewage and telecommunications firms have utility services underground. This will be completed within 48 hours, and once completed our sales team will confirm no utilities are interfering with where you would like your fence. If you know where any underground utilities or private lines are located, please make sure to let your salesperson know. There are times when a utility might be conflicting with the placement of your fence, but Fence Masters is equipped and prepared to handle this situation and will work with you to find the best solution to your needs.
